Theresa’s back, and no, it’s not a prison break—it’s just her lucky day. Brady and Tate are stunned to see her strutting through the front door, and while they’re both slightly worried, she assures them that it’s all legit. But just as Theresa starts settling into her new reality, she gets hit with some shocking news: there’s a baby in the mix! And for once, it’s not one of her own scandals.

Theresa’s over here thinking she’s about to be a grandmother—cue the existential crisis. When she learns Sophia’s mother vetoed the adoption plan, her reaction is peak Theresa: “Of course she did. Why wouldn’t she?” Because nothing is ever easy in Days, least of all family drama.
Melinda Trask: Shady and Stylish
Over in the ongoing saga of missing jewelry, Melinda Trask proves she’s still got that villainous flair. Doug and Holly are trying to get the infamous necklace back, but Melinda—ever the drama queen—shows up flaunting it like it’s part of her personal collection.

Holly is appalled, considering Melinda’s history with Sloan’s baby-swap scandal, but Trask could not care less. She’s got style, she’s got attitude, and she’s not giving up that necklace without a fight. Even when Holly offers to pay well above what she spent, Melinda’s not budging. “It’s not just about the money,” she purrs, soaking up the chaos.
Translation: Holly better get used to seeing that necklace on Melinda’s neck because it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Rafe is Back—and He’s Not in the Mood
Meanwhile, Rafe is awake and ready to cause problems. Jada is thrilled to see him conscious, but he’s got some serious catching up to do. Turns out, he’s been out of commission for three months, and in that time, EJ has been living his best (worst) life, making power plays and ruining lives.
Jada fills him in on all the juicy details, and Rafe wastes no time deciding that he’s going to take EJ down—because, let’s be real, this is Days of Our Lives, and revenge is the only real currency. The memory loss might slow him down, but it’s not stopping him. Rafe is officially back in the game.
EJ, Kristen, and the Art of Bad Parenting
At the DiMera mansion, EJ is too busy scheming to notice that his own family is falling apart. Kristen bursts in, frantic because Rachel has vanished. Given her track record, this is not ideal. EJ, ever the supportive brother, offers some helpful sarcasm and absolutely no solutions. Kristen, realizing she can’t rely on him, rushes off to find her wayward mother.
And where is Rachel, you ask? Oh, just sharpening her knife skills with Ava.
Rachel Goes Psycho on Ava
Ava gets back to her room, thinking she can finally relax, but Rachel is already waiting. And let’s just say, this is not a social visit. Rachel, fully channeling her inner soap opera villain, pulls a knife on Ava. Why? Because she “has to make up for lost time.”
Big mistake.
Ava, never one to back down from a fight, reminds Rachel exactly who she’s dealing with: “You think you can take me on? I used to run a mafia organization!” But Rachel is unbothered and gets dangerously close to Ava’s throat. Just when things are about to get messy (messier?), Kristen calls, distracting Rachel long enough for Ava to fight back.
Cue: Ava getting a minor slice before flipping the script on Rachel.
Rafe vs. EJ: Round One
Back at the DiMera mansion, Rafe has had enough of EJ’s antics. He storms in and immediately starts choking the life out of EJ, which, let’s be honest, has been a long time coming. Jada, ever the professional, pries them apart and reminds everyone that they still need actual evidence to put EJ away.

But Rafe isn’t interested in patience. He gets right in EJ’s face and delivers the line of the night: “You are NOT going to get away with it.”
Oh, but this is Days of Our Lives, and if we know one thing, it’s that EJ always finds a way.
Theresa’s Grandma Meltdown
Back at Casa Brady, Theresa is spiraling over the whole “grandmother” thing. Adoptions can go horribly wrong in Salem (see: Kristen’s history), and she’s not about to let her grandchild get caught up in someone else’s mess. But instead of losing her mind completely, she tells Tate that she just wants what’s best for the baby.
Translation: Expect Theresa to start meddling any day now.
Holly and Doug’s Heist Plans
Meanwhile, Holly is not giving up on getting that necklace back. Even after their failed attempt with Melinda, she assures Doug that they’ll get it one way or another.
And in Salem, “one way or another” usually involves blackmail, deception, or an elaborate con. So buckle up—this storyline is far from over.
The Drama is Just Getting Started
