Marlena and Steve Take Charge, Ava’s Nightmare Begins Again
On Friday’s Days of Our Lives, Marlena refuses to sit back while John is missing, Steve jumps in for the rescue mission, and Ava barely has time to breathe before danger finds her again. Meanwhile, Kristen is back on her nonsense, Tate and Holly hit another rough patch, and Melinda drops a bombshell that no one saw coming.
Tate and Holly’s Love-Hate Saga Continues
It’s another day, another teenage disaster at the Kiriakis mansion as Tate struts in, ready to drive Holly to school but not without throwing some shade at Doug’s sticky fingers. Holly defends him, but Tate is having none of it. And when Holly accidentally reveals that Doug stole Julie’s necklace, Tate goes full meltdown mode.
“You mean to tell me this dude straight-up robbed his own family?!” he gasps. Holly tries to soften the blow, but Tate isn’t buying it. He promises to keep quiet, but the drama escalates when Holly drags his mistakes into the mix—particularly, the tiny issue of getting Sophia pregnant and possibly raising a baby with her. Ouch. That one stings. Instead of riding with Tate, Holly decides the public bus sounds more appealing than continuing this conversation.
Doug Is on the Case
Meanwhile, Doug isn’t sitting around feeling guilty—he’s knocking on Leo’s door, demanding updates on the necklace situation. And guess what? Leo’s got some news. The woman who bought the necklace? She’s right in Salem.
But before they can track her down, Leo takes a detour into Tate and Holly’s romance, giving Doug an unsolicited recap of their rollercoaster relationship. Doug, bless his heart, plays it cool, claiming he’s staying out of it. Good move, Doug. Let the kids be messy on their own time.

Then, just when things are moving along, Leo’s fence drops the final piece of the puzzle—he found the woman who bought the necklace, and she’s ready to talk. But who could it be?
Marlena Refuses to Wait for Answers
Over at the hospital, Marlena is done being patient. Shane Donovan is ghosting her, John is missing, and she’s had enough of the runaround. Steve walks in, already in the loop, and tries to calm her down. But Marlena is in full take-no-prisoners mode.
“John is out there, and he needs me,” she insists. And when Steve suggests that John can handle himself, Marlena fires back, “Yeah? Well, so can I.”
Message received. Steve knows better than to argue, so he does the only thing a smart man would—he agrees to go with her. Because let’s be real, Marlena’s going with or without backup. The two head out to DC to shake some answers loose, and frankly, I wouldn’t want to be Shane when they show up at his door.
Brady and Ava: The Saga Never Ends
Brady is spiraling over John’s disappearance, and Ava chooses this moment to drop by for a heart-to-heart. He tells her about his dad, and Ava assures him she’s here for him. But when Brady suggests that Kristen’s latest antics are over and done with, Ava raises an eyebrow. “What about the other Rachel?”
Brady scoffs. His grandmother-in-law is just a “frail old woman,” nothing to worry about. Oh, Brady. Sweet, naive Brady. Ava tries to warn him that Rachel Blake is far more dangerous than he thinks, but he brushes it off because, of course, he does. Instead, he pulls the ultimate emotional card, asking Ava not to give up on them. And wouldn’t you know it? That works. Ava sighs, leans in, and kisses him. Again. These two never learn.
Kristen’s Reunion Takes a Dark Turn
Kristen is at the Salem PD, demanding to know where her mother is when Melinda saunters in with bad news. Rachel Blake, aka Mother of the Year, bit another inmate during a scuffle. (Yes, you read that right.) She’s still being released, but Melinda warns Kristen that her mother is unstable—as if that wasn’t already obvious.

Rachel & Kristen |
Rachel finally arrives, and she and Kristen head home for a cozy evening of baths and poached eggs (because of course that’s what they eat). But something is off. Kristen lays down the law, telling her mom she has to behave. No more plotting, no more scheming. And Rachel? Oh, she promises. She absolutely promises to behave… all while flashing a mischievous little smirk. Yikes.
Melinda Drops the Ultimate Bomb
Back in town, Doug bumps into Holly, who has ditched school because she’s too busy sulking over Tate. Doug cheers her up with some exciting news—he finally tracked down the woman who bought Julie’s necklace! But before he can say who it is, Melinda saunters in, wearing the necklace herself.
“That would be me,” she declares with a smirk. Oh, Melinda. Always one step ahead.
Rachel Blake’s Next Victim?
Kristen checks in with Peter, who wants to talk to their mom. But when she goes to find Rachel, she’s gone. And where is she? Hiding in Ava’s room.
“Hello, Ava,” she purrs, looking way too pleased with herself.
Ava barely catches a break before finding herself face-to-face with another nightmare.
Tate Gets a Reality Check
Tate rushes home, demanding answers from Brady. Why didn’t anyone tell him about John? Brady tries to reassure his son that they’ll get through this as a family. But before anyone can get too cozy, Theresa walks in, dramatically announcing, “Does that include me?”
Cue the gasps.
Next Week on DOOL
Salem is not ready for what’s coming next. Marlena and Steve are on a mission, Kristen has her hands full with her unhinged mother, and Ava? Well, she just can’t catch a break. And now, with Theresa back in the mix, things are about to get so much messier.
